On the 1st to 3rd October 2019, MCSIM Town - Once Again was held at Block B, Student Hub! The theme and decoration for this event was inspired by 'Baba & Nyonya'. The targeted audience for this event was all SIM students.

The primary objective was to promote MCSIM & Malaysia to all SIM students as we wanted to ensure that the students in SIM was not only aware of MCSIM and our activities, but also Malaysian culture. In addition, the event was also held to recruit members to join MCSIM and our Lion Dance Troupe. Last but not least, MCSIM Town - Once Again also provide a platform for students to make new friends and to in a way, relive their childhood.

Throughout the three days, the committees involved gathered from as early as 9:00 AM to set-up the event venue. There were multiple stations set-up such as MCSIM Corner, games stations, photo booth, goodie bag, lucky draw, club tee purchasing station and even a snack corner.
MCSIM Corner which showcased MCSIM's activities and past events
What Colour Do You Want, a childhood game that most Malaysians played when they were kids
Stack the Pail, a simple game where you form a tower with pails
Pick Up Sticks, a game which requires focus and skill
Snacks Corner, a station with a variety of different childhood snacks we as Malaysians snacked during our younger years
Participants trying their luck at our Lucky Draw station
The main purpose of the game stations were to relive memories of childhood games that many Malaysians have played during their childhood and also to introduce the games to our foreign friends who had participated in our event. There were also performances from the MCSIM Lion Dance Troupe, SIM Guitar Club, Esprimere Singing Club and also a special singing performance from a fellow Malaysian, Chloe.

The performances from each of the parties involved were indeed delightful and it helped liven up our event. Before concluding this mountain of text, we would like to express our mountain of gratitude to each and every person involved in 'MCSIM Town - Once Again!', be it the committees, performers or even participants.
Time is fleeting when beautiful memories are woven together but, that is life - c'est la vie.
Beautiful memories are flying by, yet this love will never die.
Please know that I'll always try, till the day we say goodbye.
We look forward to having the pleasure of your company in the future.
Warmest regards,
Joshua Lee Xing Wei
