Microsoft Sharing Session 2017

MCSIM is one of the dedicated student led international club in SIM to enhance the study abroad experience of fellow Malaysians. However, do you know that, aside from various networking event, sports league and social welfare initiatives, we are also a place where you can pick up new skills!

Last Wednesday, our very own executive committee had conducted a Microsoft Words and Excel sharing session which aims to introduce some useful tools in preparing an academic report and writing for an assignment. More than 15 people had attended in the evening to learn about these tools!

One of the key takeaways is how you can align the words content such as bullet points, paragraphs and headings without having to insert the spacing manually. Besides, participants also learned about the convenience of the excel formula in preparing a simple accounting statement.

Mentors are helpful to assist our lost sheep!
During the break, the participants were happily networking with each other and finding out about their respective learning journey. Some delicious crackers, chocolates and Oreos are also available on the table for anyone who craved for a sweet bite!

Thank you our instructors !

The sharing session lasted for 3 hours and we had a wonderful group photo before saying goodbye to part our ways.

If you are interested about our event after reading this article, be sure to check out the Lunar New Year 2017 GujiGuji Rooster Reunion on our facebook page too!

AND if you are keen to know more about this workshop, dont worry we have soft copy of it !
Here is the summarised version of the event. Sharing is caring, so here is the link,

Your support is our charger, where our motivations come from and which makes us move on.
