Back To School Party!

New semester commenced in July for current SIM students and it was also a month where a number of new Malaysian students started their studies in Singapore. Thus, the EXCO team decided to organize a school-themed event which was the Back To School Party to welcome all newcomers as they start their journey in SIM. It was an overwhelming event as we were able to gather near 60 participants and with this as a platform, new friendships were forged among them through MCSIM.

Happy faces :D

The event kicked-off with a skit for our fellow members to reminisce about moments during their secondary school. We were happy to see them enjoying the skit, as bursts of laughter filled the place.

After our ice breaker "Shout My Name" we played our first game called "Dizzy Craft Maker". Participants were required to spin on the spot and run towards the table, where they had to complete a challenge which requires absolute focus 😨

The next game, "Balloon Killer" was definitely a game to remember for the participants as they gave their 101% effort to burst opponents' balloons whilst protecting their own. Even though there was only one winning group, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Nevertheless, they can't stop Yellow group from winning the game :))

To end our Back To School Party we had our last game which was "Pack It Up". They were required to memorize the timetable and arranged themselves accordingly. This emphasized teamwork as one of them from each group was blindfolded.

It was a great day but we wouldn't have made it without our members' support. We are more than happy to know that the participants truly enjoyed the day and made new friends too! Once again, we welcome all new members in joining our MCSIM family :D
