International Student Night in SIM 2016

As we know, International Student Night is annual gathering night for all international students and organized by 7 international student clubs in SIM. This year we had a fantastic theme as wish upon a star!

MCSIM this year was given a role as in-charge for the decoration. Hence, all the decorations we tried to integrate stars element in every single corner.

Before the event start there was an interesting food corner served some signature refreshment for the participants by every club. These refreshments represent their country famous snacks so participants will have a chance to experience new cultural from each community.

Photo booth always act as an attraction to make tonight memorable!

Pageants from 7 International Student Club, make a guess which pairs were representing MCSIM?

Here, they are ! With Malaysia national costume.

The night starts with our MCSIM’s drum performance and followed by lion dance.

Each club had their own performances which made the night merrier.  

When we mentioned, ISN is a collaboration event with 7 international students clubs.
Do not forget the emcee of the night! One of the main emcee - Marcella Chia! She represented MCSIM to be one of the main emcees of the night!

Apart from performances, one of the hightlight of the night come up to our mind will be Pageant competition.

Each club will send a female and a male representative to join the competition and the winner will be judged by different aspects of their attire, behavior, interview and their confidence to represent their own club.

Facebook likes also is one of the key factors to show our supports to our pageants!

As for MCSIM, this year Zhen Yang and Jerlene Teo represented our club and they managed to win first runner-up for each category.

Congratulations to MCSIM representatives!

Last but not least, MCSIM power in da house!

This was a meaningful event when you are studying oversea and out from classroom able to have a platform know more different nationality friends. This is the meaning of ISN which stands for as cultural exchange!
